Big West Ford is looking to add a Quick Lane Technician to our team.

This position can jump start your career in the automotive industry and can even lead to an apprenticeship Duties include:

performing oil changes on vehicles, tire repairs and change overs, general repairs, shop upkeep, and other various tasks around the dealership.

We are looking for a tire and lube technician to join our busy west end Ford dealership.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform oil and filter changes as well as other service
  • Recommend additional services as indicated by checks
  • Enjoy working in a fact paced environment
  • Tire mounting/balancing, rotations and repairs
  • Completing basic inspections
  • Assisting Journeyman when required
  • Lube Bay experience required
  • A chance to advance into apprenticeship
  • Must be selfmotivated
  • Additional tasks as requested

Requirements:


  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude
  • Team player
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs
  • First aid / Standard CPR an asset but not required
  • WHMIS an asset but not required
  • Dealership experience is preferred
  • Experience driving BOTH manual and automatic transmission

- lube tech: 1 year (preferred)
