Location: 60 Archibald Street, Winnipeg

HFHM is the regional Affiliate of a global charity assisting low income working families to purchase their first home. Our territory is from Dryden, ON to the Saskatchewan border.
Based in Winnipeg, we have Chapters in 11 Manitoba communities and in Kenora.

HFHM is a registered charity with not-for-profit status.

We are in four operating businesses:

small land developer, mid-sized house builder, retailer with three stores in two communities and a small financial services company.

In addition, we raise millions of dollars annually and manage 2,000 - 3,000 volunteers each year.


Habitat for Humanity Manitoba (HFHM) is recruiting for the position of Office

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.
This position reports to the Vice President, Finance and Administration.


Job Description & Duties

RECEPTION:


  • Record Management
  • Data Entry
  • Direct incoming phone calls
  • Process payments (mortgage; donation, fund raising)
  • Receive, date & log and distribute mail in a timely fashion
  • Welcome visitors and advise staff accordingly
  • Place and receive all courier deliveries
  • Provide information re: phone enquiries
  • Provide support to all Habitat Manitoba staff as required

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:


  • Enter and mail out all Tax Receipts
  • Maintain Office Supply Room and keep in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Issue receipts for funds received (Mortgage payments; donations; fundraising donations)
  • Process payments (Master Card; Visa; Debit)
  • Word Processing (labels; tables; letters, presentations)
  • Data Entry
and Create (spreadsheets, databases, reports)

  • Responsible for maintaining and ordering all office supplies; maintenance supplies, lunchroom supplies
  • Manage & Balance Petty Cash
