Black Creek Developments Inc. has been in operation since 2014 defining the urban landscapes of Central Alberta.


Based out of Sylvan Lake, our talented project managers and tradesmen build refined commercial property that enables communities to grow and prosper.


Job Description:


  • Record and compare bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
  • Assist in providing detailed proposals and accurate bid packages
  • Find ways to reduce costs of equipment and supplies
  • Maintain up to date and current product knowledge
  • Prepare modified cost estimates when plans are changed, or when the availability of materials or labor varies
  • Prepare schedules for construction proceedings
  • Coordinate, participate and administer project activities to ensure goals and deadlines are on track
  • Keep clients informed of project progress
  • Visit job sites and analyze blueprints and plans
  • Attend weekly meetings to report on progress
  • Facilitate communication between our clients, contractors, suppliers and the company
  • Work with our construction manager to resolve any client/job site issues
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure information is accurately shared and to monitor project budgets
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the management team to ensure cohesive
  • Assist in planning work to be done and assign duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Background in construction/renovations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation
  • Ability to determine potential risks while devising proactive ways to solve them
  • Excellence in budgeting of financial resources
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean abstract
  • Experience managing all aspects of workflow and contracts regarding construction projects
  • 23 years of related experience in a similar role
  • Education/training/certifications in project management considered a strong asset
  • Wage is determined based on experience._

$40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
