    Job Summary

    We are looking for Licensed and Apprentice 310T Diesel Mechanics/Technicians to join our team at one of our 15 locations in Ontario.

    This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Service Manager, responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
    • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
    • Determine malfunction and plan work procedures based on job order, observation, and listening to vehicle operation.
    • Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
    • Document work performed.
    • Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
    • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
    • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
    • Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
    • Good communication skills and work attitude.
    • Quality Driven.
    • SAP experience is an asset.
    • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
    • Criminal Record Check.
    • Driver's Abstract.
    • AZ/DZ License is an asset.
