Responsibilities will include managing the maintenance of the City's recreation facilities as well as associated recreational buildings, fields, and third-party contracts for building maintenance.

The Supervisor will ensure proper oversight and operation of HVAC, plumbing, ice plants, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems while ensuring pool water chemistry is maintained and in accordance with applicable legislative standards.

The Supervisor will work closely with the Recreation Services Department to develop, implement, and oversee the daily pool and ice maintenance programs.

The Supervisor will develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to proactively address issues and extend the lifespan of equipment (pumps, vehicles, HVAC, playground equipment, field lighting, ice plant, etc.

The Supervisor of Recreation Services, Facilities, will work closely with the department of Recreation Services to prepare the annual recreation operating budget, develop and prepare policies and procedures, champion safety, and oversee staff.

The Supervisor of Recreation Services, Facilities, will provide motivation and leadership to staff and contribute to building enthusiasm during recreational programs while ensuring a respectful and collaborative working environment.
