Description
The
Store Manager provides management and day-to-day oversight of the retail store.

Their duties will include leading a team of staff, oversee major functions such as finance marketing and sales, and keep track of financials and merchandise.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with the President and team to lead, execute and implement plan to meet corporate and financial objectives
  • Provide support and motivation to sales teams and provide stellar customer service
  • Oversee major functional areas such as finance, marketing and sales
  • Create business plans and execute promotional strategies to drive sales
  • Provide sales growth coaching to our sales teams to drive sales performance and an exceptional experience for our customers
  • Assist in the hiring & training of new employees
  • Help improve current sales/service systems and processes
  • Assist in analysing reports and targets for the sales teams
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns instores
  • Assist in planning of merchandising and marketing for all products
  • Assist in merchandising products and decor on sales floors
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years retail management or general manager experience in related industry
  • Experience working in furniture retail or luxury retail considered an asset
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Experience with luxury design considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in computer skills including spreadsheets, scheduling, financial payment softwares
  • Excellent customer service skills and insight with a friendly demeanour and relationship driven mindset
  • Ability to lead a team towards a common goal ex. monthly financial targets.
  • Highly organized with capability to manage multiple team members and tasks consistently.
  • Great communication skills with team and customers

Salary:
From $1.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Retail management: 7 years (preferred)
  • Luxury retail sales: 4 years (preferred)
