Our Revelstoke and Banff offices are looking for students enrolled, or about to enroll, in the CPA PEP, who will grow to help us offer the high-quality client service and expertise in tax and accounting we provide.

We foster a comfortable and professional working environment, as well as the time, resources and knowledge to support and develop our valued professionals all the way up to partnership.

We service a very diverse business community which provides our staff with interesting experiences in all aspects of accounting, taxation, audit and business consulting with a vast number of industries and complexities.


This position will provide you with:

  • The autonomy to build your own work schedule so long as monthly full-time hours are worked;

Your primary responsibilities will include:

In our tax focused firm, you will demonstrate your professionalism to ensure time budgets and file deadlines are met.

With a goal to develop your technical accounting expertise for greater detail, knowledge and efficiency, you will be responsible for:


  • Preparation of working paper files for Notice to Reader engagements;
  • Communicating with our clients about their business and personal information as you work through the files;
  • Completing some bank reconciliation and AP/AR;
  • Regularly completing GST returns, personal income tax returns, corporate income tax returns;
  • Growing to understand the client's businesses and identifying and presenting possible solutions to supervisors for accounting and tax issues you come across;
  • Creating time efficiencies and managing multiple deadlines;
  • Contributing to our positive team dynamic with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience working with aspects of an accounting system beyond the AP/AR role (an asset);
  • Prior education that includes tax and accounting systems courses;
  • A working knowledge of Taxprep, Caseware Financials, and QuickBooks (an asset);
  • Effective communication skills;
  • A dedication to client service;
  • High ethical standards.
