As a Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring our employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with legislation and regulations.

You'll improve our payroll processes and systems to support Westland's growth across Canada.

Why we'll love you:


  • At least 3 years' fullcycle payroll experience
  • You can juggle You're an expert at mastering time, multiple tasks, and priorities in dynamic environment
  • A problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
  • Experience with different payroll software platforms, Ceridian Dayforce would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office with solid Excel skills
  • Bonus: Certifications by the Canadian Payroll Association as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)

Once here, you'll:


  • Prepare and process multiprovincial payrolls (hourly and salary) on a biweekly basis
  • Establish and maintain employee records, ensuring employee changes are made on a timely basis
  • Collaborate with work sites to ensure accurate time entry data
  • Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll and benefits
  • Prepare various tax filing documentation, including records of employment and tax slips
  • Provide payroll data and reports as needed
  • Stay current on relevant provincial and federal legislation
