Summer Scheduling Program Assistant:
Community Living St.
Catharines (CLSC) is a dynamic and innovative non-profit social service agency providing services and supports to children and adults who have an intellectual disability.
Job Summary:
Community Living is seeking a knowledgeable and motived individual to provide a full range of administrative supports to the Adults Supports department.
The incumbent will work in an office setting and assist with the implementation of an electronic scheduling system, maintaining a filing system, generating reports, performing data entry, coordination of materials for professional development, and other general administrative duties.
We are seeking one Summer Student to work June-August and the position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant.
Qualifications:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
- Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work according to provincial legislation and regulations
- Interest in supporting adults who have intellectual disabilities
Other Requirements:
- Satisfactory Police Clearance (18 years and older)
- Experience with using an electronic scheduling systems (an asset)
- Completed or currently enrolled in Business Administration (an asset)
Salary:
$16.50 per hour, 35 hours per week, 12 week total
