Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

We are looking for a Seasonal Lead Hand, Grounds to join our team in Antigonish, NS. This supervisory, yet hands-on position services our Manufactured Home Communities. Leading a small grounds team, the successful incumbent will ensure curb appeal is maintained through planning and thoughtful landscaping.

What you will do:

•Landscaping duties including but not limited to laying sod or seed, mowing, trimming, weeding, etc.;

•Producing and maintaining ditches and French drains;

•Operating vehicle to relocate tactor and mowers to different parks;

•Supervising and leading a small team of seasonal grounds people;

•Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

•1-2 years previous labour/maintenance experience;

•Experience operating a small tractor with a backhoe attachment would be considered an asset;

•Experience in some carpentry would be considered an asset;

•Ability to work as a team and under minimal supervision;

•Previous supervisory experience required;

•Must have a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
