Large-scale flooring company, over 40 years in operation, seeking a full-time permanent Scheduling Coordinator for a busy office environment. Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar type of position is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-minded individual with the desire to succeed. An extremely positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure is a mustDuties & Responsibilities:
- co-ordinate flooring installation dates
- schedule material to arrive in time for builder installation dates
- receive install dates from builder site supers and add to schedule
- order material from manufacturers
- communicate with installers regarding scheduled install dates
- schedule material pickups and other appointments
Skills & Qualifications:
- previous experience with scheduling a definite asset
- must be highly pro-active and able to problem solve
- Flexible personality with an ability to handle change in an organized and efficient manner
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel
- extremely organized and detail oriented
- Fluency in English
- Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally
- Strong multitasking and timemanagement skills
