About Canucks Autism Network

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing programs for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC.

Our vision is for every individual on the autism spectrum to be understood, accepted, and supported in all community spaces.

We engage a workforce of over 200 volunteers and 450 frontline staff to deliver programs for children, youth, and adults on the spectrum in communities across British Columbia.

CAN currently supports 7,675 members on the autism spectrum.

The Opportunity

Canucks Autism Network provides a fun and engaging environment where the pace of instruction can be modified to meet our participant's individual needs.

A high instructor-to-participant ratio allows for individualized support and instruction for each participant.

CAN programs give children on the autism spectrum a place to learn sports skills and socialize with their peers without the fear of acceptance or the worry of competition.

It is a chance for them to build new friendships.

CAN is looking for self-motivated, responsible, energetic, flexible and enthusiastic team players and experienced managers to join our growing pool of Onsite Supervisors.

Reporting to the Regional Coordinator, the Onsite Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the smooth, safe and high-quality delivery of CAN programs by directing and supporting program staff, navigating complex participant behaviors and ensuring that support strategies are being used effectively, as well as interacting with the families and caregivers of participants.

The Onsite Supervisor is an important part of the CAN team, acting as the organization's primary representative on the ground, and relaying important staffing and participant information to help improve programs.

All Onsite Supervisors receive in-house training, ongoing mentorship and training and benefit from small class sizes.
