Analyst, Investment Consulting - Summer Intern

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Regina office.

What the day will look like:
As an Analyst in Investment Consulting your day will be divided between individual client performance reporting and portfolio analytics, and Consultant led special projects on a broad array of investment topics:

  • Prepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients;
  • Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure, asset classes);
  • Conduct searches for investment managers;
  • Review and amend governance documents (e.g. statement of investment policies and procedures);
  • Support experienced client teams in all aspects of work servicing clients;
  • Participate in internal research and seminars regarding investment ideas and current industry issues.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets;
  • Highly motivated, selfstarter and teamoriented individual;
  • Highly organized individual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and build relationships;
  • Ability to multitask, work under timelines and adapt to changing business needs;
  • Thorough knowledge of MS

Office Suite:
Microsoft Excel (e.g. array and look-up formulas), PowerPoint and Word;

  • Positive demeanour and a desire to participate to the success of Aon.

Education:


  • Students should be enrolled in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration; and
  • Applicants should preferably be in 3rd work term or above.
