Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - 1. Prepare and deliver lessons, lectures, and demonstrations for educational purposes to students and/or staff as may be required.
- Evaluate and record student progress with the use of assessments, assignments, and observations in accordance with program and institute guidelines.
- Be flexible and responsive to learner needs through the use of appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience.
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
- Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment and feedback to students on the required learning platform (BrightSpace)
- Respond to curriculum/course demands and make necessary adjustments according to learner needs such as adult learning principles.
- Maintain and update curriculum materials.
- Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic
- Engage in professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements
- Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in practical work experience

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- 1. Bachelor of Education including classes dealing with the exceptional child or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Two years' recent and relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
- Effective instructional ability.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
