  • The position will require the successful applicant to deliver multiple courses within the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program on campus and online.
Work closely with the Occupational Health and Safety program to:


  • Teach, coach and supervise on campus and online.
  • Manage the learning environment by providing student support.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback to students and program.
  • Document student marks appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Select, design and update courses and materials.
  • Liaise with Program Head.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field including education, engineering, health, nursing or science, or equivalent combination of education and experience (postsecondary diploma in a related field and three years of direct workbased experience in Occupational Health and Safety).
  • Formal certificate or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Two years of work experience as a practitioner in Occupational Health and Safety in the last five years.
  • CRSP certification (or the ability to obtain certification within two years of hire).
  • Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) designation is considered an asset.
  • Effective communication (written and oral), interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
