    Description

    Brandt is currently looking for a Geomatics Support Specialist for our Winnipeg Construction & Forestry location. This role involves product support, training, product development, and testing. The Specialist will also work on developing creative strategies and applications to help our sales team and clients make the most of our positioning systems.

    The Geomatics Support Specialist will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge positioning technology such as machine automation, 3D scanning, mobile mapping, and powerful cloud-based software solutions.



    Required Skills:

    • Knowledge of machine automation, GNSS, and robotic and conventional positioning systems
    • Proficiency in survey field and office software
    • Interest and understanding of related technology
    • Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities


    Required Experience:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in construction, land surveying, or engineering
    • Familiarity with Brandt product lines and heavy equipment is a plus
    • Preference for candidates with a Geomatics/Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering diploma
    • Willingness to travel frequently to various locations; valid driver's abstract required
    • Knowledge of machine automation, GNSS, and robotic and conventional positioning systems
    • Proficiency in survey field and office software
    • Interest and understanding of related technology
    • Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities
