Description

We are a beautiful, newly renovated club centrally located in Edmonton's striking river valley. We have positions just opened up in our housekeeping department. We provide full benefits for full time staff working in our first-class facility.

The Housekeeping Staff are responsible for performing custodial duties to ensure the Royal Glenora Club's facilities are maintained in a highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Operate cleaning equipment to remove dirt, scrapes, and other refuse
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms and fixtures
Replenish supplies in the washrooms and locker rooms
Assist with inventory counts
Ensure storerooms are clean, organized and secure
Ensure cleaning material and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies
Make note of the need for equipment repairs
Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment
Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
Able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
Ability to work under little supervision

$2 Shift Premium paid for Overnight shifts)
