Summary:

The Rollform setup and Operator needs to understand manufacturing orders and the corresponding materials needed. The incumbent needs to be able to coordinate and work well with others.

Must be able to adjust rollers, be precise, have attention to detail and the ability to work under mínimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate roll forming mill
• Read production work orders and drawings to ensure parts are fabricated as specified by work order or diagram and produced to the required quantities
• Strap and tag bundles
• Perform changeovers on tooling & light maintenance and lubrication
• Clearly identify parts and keep in proper location
• Complete all production logs on a daily basis
• Complete required Quality inspections as required
• Perform daily PM inspection of machines
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a production setting
• 2+ years of roll forming experience
• Able to read and write English at an intermediate level
• High School education or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings
• Able to work with Alphanumeric storage system
• Good mechanical skills
• Ability to complete daily production logs
• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills ; Ability to use tape measure/caliper/angle gauge to perform in process inspections
• Able to use micrometers, verniers, etc
• Able to work well with others and with mínimal supervision
• Ability to lift 60 lbs

• Comply with labor reporting procedures
• Learn new procedures in a short period of time
• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when needed
• Other duties as assigned
