Dog Groomer - Fort McMurray, Canada - K9 Clubhouse

K9 Clubhouse is looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our team.

Current position is part time, with the possibility of turning into full time work.

We are looking for a groomer who has experience not only with specific breeds/cuts/different grooming methods, but is also comfortable with shaving, hand scissoring and anal gland expression.

REQUIREMENTS:

- minimum 1 year professional dog grooming experience

• Comfortable and knowledgeable in handling difficult dogs
• Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
• Reliable and able to work a variety of shifts (including evenings and weekends)
• Capable of working independently, as well as in a team setting
• Has excelled time management sills
• Able to take direction from clients and management
• Able to thrive in a fast pace environment
• Offers exceptional customer service and able to assist in reception duties (cashing out a customer, answering the phone and booking appointments)
• Maintains a clean workspace, changes over laundry, ensures grooming station is stocked up
