Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent service to our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to detail and passion for food are essential.

Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests at the serving station or table
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
• Strong understanding of serving standards and meal presentation
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Food industry experience with a focus on grilling or meat preparation is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in food handling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$26.66 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
