Rosewood Manor is looking for a flexible casual dietary aid/server with a passion for providing a world class dining experience for our elderly residents.


Position/Shifts:


  • Weekday/Weekend 16:00 20:00

Dietary Aid Responsibilities:


  • Sets dining room tables, serves food and beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains storage and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Takes temperatures of fridges/freezers and dishwashers and records them.
  • Washes, sorts, and stores cutlery, plates, and kitchen equipment used for food and preparation service.
  • Operates and maintains food service equipment.
  • Helps prepare and serve food under the supervision of the cook and food service manager.
  • Serves food quickly and efficiently, following all systems and diet restrictions of our residents.
  • Reports all incidents, hazards, and near misses in writing immediately to their supervisor.
  • Adheres to all infection control practices.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications:


  • Secondary school or equivalent.
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrates ability to interpret verbal and written communications and instruction.
  • Demonstrates ability to cooperate with colleagues, supervisors, and members of other departments.
  • Satisfactory proof of COVID19 vaccinations.
  • Food Safe level 1

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual, Permanent


Salary:
$20.97 per hour
