Job Description
:
Position Summary
- Safe operation of equipment (Forklift and electric aisle walker )
- Accurate and detailed record keeping
- Build relationships with customers, clients and Customer Support Representatives
- Shipping of stock to customers as per their explicit instructions
- Arranging trucks as required
- Monitoring stock quality and inventory
- Coordinating checks of stock in offsite cold storage facilities
- Receiving all other materials/supplies with relevant documentation.
This is not a typical warehouse environment. We are a working tree seedling nursery.

- Work in various other nursery tasks as needed.
Qualifications
:
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Valid class 5 drivers license and a valid certification in operating power mobile equipment.( e.g. Forklift, Skid Steer training ) _*if not currently certified must have the ability to acquire certification within 2 months of hiring_
- Demonstrated adherence to safe work practice in a production/farm environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong data entry skills and a keen eye for details
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and think under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions, and communicate well with clients and customers
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs. regularly and work in all types of weather indoors and out.

- Position will be paid hourly.; Wage is $23,00 going to $23.50 after probationary period of 3 months with Benefits at that time.
