The Role
As a Microsoft 365 Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • Translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise environment.
  • Gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders for a wide variety of clients.
  • Facilitating meetings and communicate with senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Performing internal quality control and quality assurance testing, based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing processes on large, complex, multistakeholder environments.
  • Acting as a facilitator and liaison, bridging the gap between the sponsoring group and technical resources.
  • Supporting workshops and presentations of key solution designs, technology architecture concepts, and other demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working within Agile Scrum frameworks using DevOps to manage tasks.
  • Developing documentation including business cases, requirements, solution design, test cases, recommendations, as well as reporting responsibilities where required.
  • Partnering with the team to influence and consult on the approach taken throughout the full project life cycle.
  • Developing general and solutionspecific training materials and delivering training to clients.
  • Actively supporting the Elantis culture.
On the technical side, here are some of the skills we're looking for:

  • Post-secondary education in a technology related field.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Purview.
  • Business analysis and architecture experience including providing advice, gathering requirements, and designing technology solutions.
  • Experience demonstrating solutions to clients.
  • Experience in consulting roles.
  • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions.
  • Software design and implementation experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps.

Additional skills:

  • Articulate and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently advise clients on solutions.
  • Proactive and driven.
  • Ability to be able to manage billable time and work efficiently while able to context switch and manage multiple client commitments.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability and skilled at coaching and mentoring a team.
  • Experience with presales and estimating expertise along with the ability to negotiate with and positively influence clients through sales cycles and project challenges.
  • Experience working with project managers and the technical teams to complete projects on time and on budget.
