ABOUT THE ROLE
The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for performing various managerial duties and responsibilities including actively resolving process issues or delays, to liaise with various internal staff and external business partners to plan and execute daily activities and special projects, and to provide input to various processes and workflow, operational reports and performance evaluations working in conjunction with the Manager Projects & Operations for training and performance management purposes
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shipping:_
- Manage and assist with preparation/packaging of Sales orders (product) from the shipping lane in accordance with the priority and sequence established by the Project Manager/Operations Coordinator
- Manage and assist with preparation of orders for shipment by double checking the accuracy and item count of goods staged in the shipping lane
- Process the orders within ERP system to signify the completion of the shipping stage, ensuring completion and accuracy of pertinent carrier, BOL, tracking information, etc.
- Receiving:_
- Monitor and assist with unloading of inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed
- Assist with the processing of inbound shipments including sorting, quality checking/damage assessment, count verification, repalletizing and load securement
- Putaway products on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment, scanning equipment, updating bin locations in the ERP system as required
- Order Picking (Manage and Assist):_
- Retrieve goods as detailed on Sales Orders/ packing slips, ensuring that the goods picked are the correct item, from the correct location and in the correct quantity
- Deliver the goods to the appropriate configuration bench or shipping lane
- Retrieve completed goods from the configuration area and deliver to the appropriate staging area, ensuring accuracy of the part number and quantity
- Carry out the appropriate transactions in the ERP system to signify the completion of the picking stage
- Coordinate inventory accuracy and control with Operations Coordinator
- Preparing shipping documents as needed
- Coordination and scheduling of Courier pickup and delivery
- Maintain and manage inventories of stock items, repair parts from acquisition to disposition and provide regular status reports to management
- Plan and coordinate return material authorization (RMA) activities for fielded systems and upgrades
- Prioritizing work based on shipping needs and turnaround times
- Material Handling:_
- I_n addition to the duties and tasks outlined above the Manager Warehouse & Logistics may be asked to perform other general warehousing and housekeeping duties including, but not limited to;
- Lift, move or reposition equipment as needed for cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Open, close and tape, label boxes, and wrap product as needed
- Stack and unstack product
- Move pallets of product from one location to another, with the use of powered material handling equipment, as directed

This role is expected to demonstrate advanced engagement and leadership and accountability with respect the H&S activities outlined below:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, and emptying garbage from all areas of the warehouse
- Use all prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) in the intended manner
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as trained (incl. power truck licensing, working at heights and fall arrest training)
- Be attentive to the wellbeing of self and all coworkers
- Report all unsafe acts or conditions to the Manager Projects & Operations and/or Vice President Projects & Services without delay
