WE'RE HIRING
Bar Kismet is a small seafood focused restaurant and cocktail bar located in the North End of Halifax.

We are currently seeking a part time dish warrior to join our team

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment.


Duties:


  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Shuck Oysters

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Ability to handle and wash dishes and utensils safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.

Note:
This position may also involve assisting with food preparation or supporting the cook as needed.

Part-time


Pay:
$15.20 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Weekends as needed
