What we are looking for
We are seeking an Operations Associate to join our Operations team, which owns the execution of PlaceHolder's marketplace, tenant, and landlord operations.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the execution, success, and evolution of our guest operations processes, including:
- Evaluate tenant companies to match with warehouses on our marketplace
- Coordinate ontheground processes between customers and at our properties
- Execute new initiatives to reengage with our customer base
- Collaborate with the Operations team, sharing insights and learnings, and advocating for new tools or process changes that would improve your workflow
You will be part of our Operations team that is responsible for
- Operations and marketing strategy: Decide and deliver initiatives to drive business growth
- Product definition: Propose and work with engineering on technology initiatives to scale our business. You're at the forefront of the customer journey and your insights will be crucial in informing what we build.
- Market expansion: Support PlaceHolder's launch in new cities across the globe
- Metrics: Analyze business performance and interpret metrics into opportunities
What you bring to the role
Required:
- 12 years of customerservice experience. The role scope and compensation is flexible to fit across this range, or even more and less.
- We're looking for someone who is eager to solveproblems and is customerservice oriented. Example experience could be in consulting, retail, hospitality, realestate, customersupport, sales, entrepreneurship, other professional services, or project management. However, we are open to any background provided a demonstrated ability in some or all of the following skills
- Adaptability: Learn and succeed in a fluid environment, you aren't afraid to ask questions, and are comfortable in a everchanging environment
- Communication and listening: Communicate well (verbal and written) and be a good listener
- Leadership: Work as part of a team but also take the lead on figuring something out and soliciting buyin
- Prioritization: Handle different projects with competing needs and deadlines
- Datadriven: Incorporates data and metrics in their daytoday to measure performance
- Customer Oriented: When a customer gives you a problem, you don't give up and think creatively on potential solutions. You believe there is always a winwin solution
- Collaborative: You're not afraid to share your ideas or solicit input from the PlaceHolder team and are eager to collaborate to get the job done

You should expect to be centered on weekday business hours and, depending on circumstances, you may work occasional evenings or weekend days.
