_Job Summary:
Driving Position - Student/ Retiree_

As a Utility Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading and recording utility meter data on a daily basis. This position involves working independently, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions._

Responsibilities:_

Read utility meters accurately and efficiently_
Report any meter irregularities or abnormalities to the appropriate department_
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while on the job_

Requirements_

Valid driver's license and access/own a vehicle to complete readings_
Criminal Background check and drivers abstract_
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions_
Excellent communication and customer service skills_
Positions available in both York Region and Huronia_
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and providing excellent customer service. This program is a 4 month project geared to students or retirees looking for employment throughout the summer._

Freelance hours: 30 to 40 per week

Afternoon shift

Monday to Friday

Weekend availability

Salary:
$600 to 800 Weekly
