The CCTV Operator - Sewer Camera Truck is responsible for operating and maintaining sewer inspection camera systems to conduct thorough inspections of sanitary and storm sewer lines.

The role involves driving the camera truck to various locations, operating CCTV equipment to inspect sewer lines, and documenting findings accurately.

This position ensures the integrity of sewer systems by identifying blockages, defects, and other issues that may require maintenance or repair.

• Drive and operate the sewer camera truck to and from inspection sites.
• Set up and operate CCTV camera equipment to inspect sewer lines.
• Navigate camera through sewer pipes to conduct visual inspections.

• Record video footage of sewer line inspections.
• Document and log inspection details, noting the condition of sewer lines, blockages, cracks, leaks, and other defects.
• Generate detailed reports based on CCTV findings, including still images and video evidence.

• Perform routine maintenance on CCTV equipment and sewer camera truck to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues onsite.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs or technical issues.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding sewer inspections.
• Participate in safety training and drills.

• Communicate effectively with clients, property owners, and municipal representatives regarding inspection procedures and findings.
• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification in CCTV operation, plumbing, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in sewer inspection, plumbing, or a related field.
• Previous experience operating CCTV equipment is highly desirable.

• Proficient in operating and maintaining CCTV sewer inspection equipment.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Excellent observational and documentation skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills for report generation and data entry.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
