We're seeking a data informed, highly organized, innovative thinker with a background in program delivery to join Digital Nova Scotia's projects team.

The Project Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with managing the technical content of DNS's virtual career-building programs.

The curriculum has been developed to upskill, reskill, and train participants who are looking to build a career within Atlantic Canada's digital workforce.

What does the role look like?:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a pan-Atlantic virtual career-building program
  • Track and report project and student performance metrics
  • Manage and support Teaching Assistants
  • Coordinate and schedule technical/career development sessions into curriculum
  • Conduct research and collect data on companies that are looking for talent across Atlantic Canada
  • Manage project operations with project partners, internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain the quality & relevance of the curriculum through industry research and partnership
  • Contribute to the development of tools and resources library to meet project and stakeholder needs

Here's what we need:


  • 23 years experience in project/program delivery in the tech sector
  • Strong database management and reporting skills
  • 12 years of Recruiting or Learning and Development experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and exceptional research skills
  • Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage others, and lead
your areas of work

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience

Here's what we see as assets for the role:

  • Previous experience in curriculum design and/or supporting the delivery of virtual
programs

  • English/French bilingual
