- SAP System deployment using SAP-PM and Ariba
- Implementing the right equipment structure and hierarchy in SAP-PM
- Maintenance workflow implementation
- Testing (UAT): tests scripts, tracking, simulations
- Communicating to IT/IS for authorizations support, change requests, developments, and configurations
- Supporting Ariba systems including: connections between systems, AM specific tasks, cooperation with RPL: spare parts (procurement, materials handling)
- The authorization and assignment of the different users profiles
- Managing the SAP procedures and work instructions.
- Checking proper SAP use (article management, suppliers, tree structure, preventive maintenance plan, work orders, etc.) to ensure a smooth work flow
- Training staff in the use of supporting software
- Helping internal customers understand what master data is and where different Material Master, Vendor Master, Source of Supply, Purchasing Info Records and Set Configuration data components are stored in SAP
- Taking care of the functional helpdesk and assisting users in the first line with use of the software.
- 5+ years of related SAP/ERP master data entry experience in an industrial environment.
- Effective knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP PM & Ariba)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook
- Practical knowledge of work order management (work handling in SAP-PM).
- Specialist knowledge of the SAP-PM and Ariba module.
- Knowledge of Asset Management Systems
- Can transfer knowledge and skills to others.
- Organizational skills and the ability to meet conflicting deadlines
- Enthusiastic team player with an open "can do" , and results-oriented mentality
- Ability to work accurately and independently
- This role's onboarding program includes 3 months training in Europe.

About Umicore Battery Materials in Canada
Umicore is preparing to build a battery materials production plant in Loyalist Township, Ontario - the first of its kind in North America. The cutting-edge facility will be a critical part of Canada's electric vehicle (EV) supply chain. What you will be doing
For this new site, we are looking for an SAP Coordinator reporting to the Asset Maintenance Manager. In this role you will be responsible for developing and deploying the entire information system used within the Asset Management organization and supervising the correct use of the SAP software in the role of key user. This means the structured analysis, design and maintenance of the SAP basic data (SAP-PM and Ariba).
