- Plan, implement, and assess the curriculum for Grade Mathematics using creative teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
- Employ innovation and technology in teaching mathematical processes
- Utilize a variety of strategies to build strong and positive relationships with students
- Employ effective classroom management practices to establish a positive and engaging teaching and learning environment
- Act as a mentor to a group of boys by providing support and guidance in group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in co-curricular activities at least two of the three terms
- Integrate the School's mission throughout all curricular and co-curricular activities
- Attend meetings and professional development opportunities
- Participate in supervision, duty, and evening and weekend events as required
- A Bachelor's degree, B.Ed., and membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- A minimum of two years experience teaching Math at the Senior Level, and/or Senior Mathematics qualification
- Superior skill in teaching the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum is an asset
- Previous Upper School teaching in a private/independent school is an asset

- Superior and demonstrated relationship-building and relational teaching skills
- Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence, mentoring, and boy-centric teaching pedagogies
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
