You have:


  • Current enrollment in a college or university program in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Design and Development, Marketing and Communications or a related field with a confirmed return to school in September
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using rapid development tools, e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.
  • Experience using interactive design and graphic design tools, e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, VYOND
  • Administrative and organizational skills with a high degree of thoroughness and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with multiple members of HR Team
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, composure and flexibility when faced with managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to selfmotivate with a desire to learn new skills
  • Effective problemsolving skills with the ability to use research tools, shared drives and other resources to find solutions and seek out advise from others
  • Comfortable working independently and as a team

What you will do:


  • Assist in needs assessment process to identify performance and learning objectives and draft learning strategies
  • Support in the design and development of learning initiatives, including materials and asset
  • Assist with creating learning materials using rapid development tools
  • Use a variety of different media to support the delivery of information; record and edit audio, locate and manipulate stock photography and images, and build animations
  • Write clear and concise content
  • Participate in peer content review and implement feedback to improve final product
  • Assist in the evaluation of learning programs
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement of work processes
  • Work with the internal Learning & Development team providing support where required
  • Engage and participate in team meetings

_Rate:
$16.25 per hour (first-time Summer Student) or $17.25 per hour (returning Summer Student)_
