Description
As a part-time receptionist for an ultrasound clinic, your primary responsibility would be to provide excellent customer service to patients and visitorsYour duties may include:
Greeting patients and visitors:
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will need to greet them kindly. We are an inclusive, LGBTQ-friendly clinic.
Scheduling appointments:
You will need to handle incoming calls and schedule appointments for patients. This may include rescheduling appointments or cancelling them when necessary.
Managing patient files:
You will need to maintain patient files, including updating patient information, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is complete, and filing medical records.
Answering questions:
Patients and visitors may have questions about the clinic, procedures, or billing. You will need to answer their questions or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Billing and insurance:
You may need to verify insurance information, collect payments, and assist with billing inquiries. Manage OHIP billing rejections.
Administrative tasks:
You may be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as data entry, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.
Our clinic is open Monday-Saturday. We run occasional evening clinics. Evening and weekend availability is required
Qualifications:
Medical office: 1 year (preferred)
Secondary School (preferred)
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
