What will you do:

  • Accountable for managing the planogram process to showcase our intentional product strategy
  • Work closely with the Category Manager and Merchandising Project Manager to effectively develop, deploy and execute all planograms
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all promotional activity within the category and collaborates with marketing and branch operations to effectively execute all flyer, endcap and over and above initiatives
  • Supports vendor relationships, and suppliers negotiations to achieve key targets (rebates, marketing funding, etc)
  • Analyzes key financial and operational metrics to determine the success of individual programs and products and identifying potential issues, opportunities and improvements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to execute category strategy
  • Review, revise and prepare inventory programs to support profitable business growth for the business based off of strategic plans
  • Manage obsolete inventory
  • Prepare and present budgets for qualifying programs
What will you bring

  • Post Secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in Category management or relatable experience
  • Ability to think strategically with excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, tableau, Microsoft BI and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate with all associate levels within the organization.
  • Working effectively with time constraints and meeting deadlines within a fastpaced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in both French and English is an asset
