- To ensure acceptable level of customer service is provided to customers and you have the appropriate attitude to create a positive experience for customers;
- Deliver professional, current and sound agronomic advice and recommendations to producers in the area with a wide variety of crops and soils, including crop protection/crop nutrition information, field scouting and recommendations, soil testing services;
- Administer and carry out an extensive on farm contact program developing customer and supplier relationship;
- Market and distribute crop supply products and farm equipment to new and existing customers;
- Receive, distribute and load fertilizer and crop protection products;
- Maintain environmental compliance;
- Work with the crop input manager to maintain inventory levels, ordering and data reporting through in house programming;
- Adhere to all merchandising standards, marketing efforts including pricing, policy and procedure, equipment maintenance, house-keeping and loss prevention policies.
- To analyze our existing and potential customers and identify other competition in the area;
- Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.
- You have a degree or diploma in agriculture;
- You have 0-3 or more years of agronomy and/or relevant experience;
- You have a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Professional certifications (CCA, PAg) (or currently working towards);
- Strong Agricultural background in sales, account management and agronomy;
- You have crop planning and scouting agronomy experience
- You are highly motivated;
- You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
- You believe in maintaining a respectful and honest work place;
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted
