The shift is 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Every second weekend is off.

***- General cleaning of the facility.

  • Terminal cleaning/disinfecting
  • Removal of garbage.
  • Replenishing soap and paper supplies.
  • Additional duties for isolation cleaning as assigned.
  • Other cleaning duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of Grade 10.
  • Must successfully complete a written skills, communication and English competency test.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

  • Two years of relevant housekeeping experience preferably in health care.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health practices.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS.

OTHER

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds utilizing appropriate lifting techniques.
