TITLE:
Communications Recruitment Officer


POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Communications Recruitment Officer you will play an important role in informing on recruitment and communication strategies.

Through targeted recruitment methods, combined with enhanced communications strategies, you will help inform and attract prospective students, and inform them of various program offerings.

Additionally, you will use your experience in marketing, use of social media and advertising tools to advise and inform clients and push forward the strategic priorities of the Office of the Executive Director.

The Officer will oversee multiple social media accounts and create engaging and creative content for various platforms. The Officer will follow up with potential leads from new markets and maintain current markets for enrollment purposes. The Officer will represent the College by contacting potential leads. The Officer will conduct presentations and provide advice to prospective students with respect to programs, admissions, and registration procedures.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Senior Leadership.


SALARY:
$40,000 - $45,000/year. Two weeks (10 days) paid vacation per year.


EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Full-time workload (40 hours per week). 1-year contract with the possibility of leading to a permanent position.


WORK WEEK:
This position carries a full-time workload with flexible hours. Some evening and weekend work may be required dependent on recruitment activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Postsecondary education, minimum of a Certificate or Diploma equivalence.
  • Minimum of 1year work experience working in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of the Private Career College system.
  • 13 years marketing experience.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas.
  • Experience with CRM and social media platforms.
  • Must possess a valid G license and have access to reliable vehicle, availability to travel to recruitment activities within Southwestern/Central Ontario (Reimbursement for mileage is provided). When not traveling the recruiter will be working from our office in Toronto.

Teams).


GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for maintaining and managing several social media accounts while ensuring brand consistency and voice.
  • Staying engaged with followers on social media, including responding to all relevant messages and comments on all platforms.
  • Grow Randolph College's social media platforms by sourcing, curating, editing, and posting engaging content.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring that content is scheduled within the minimum amount of advanced time required.
  • Ensure appropriate analytics are tracked and reported on for all social campaigns and posts.
  • Actively participate in the creation of all social content marketing plans to increase both the volume of followers through social media channels as well as the engagement level of such followers.
  • Stay up to date on new trends in social media and provide ongoing recommendations for new social initiatives and tactics to deliver on social media strategic objectives and goals.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and successfully implement them end to end.
  • Optimize our website for search engines through keyword research, onpage optimization, and link building.
  • Work with all departments to achieve successful execution and implementation of all digital media solutions.
  • Shoot and edit quick consumption videos on your phone for Facebook, Instagram, Tik
Tok and Twitter, as needed.
