Job description
Our clinic, Family Physiotherapy Clinic, is looking to fill a part time physical therapy assistant position which will include the following responsibilities:

• Greeting clients, accompanying them to treatment area and preparing them for therapy
• Preparing and administering treatments using standard therapeutic methods and techniques, including hot/cold packs, Ultrasound, TENS, and IFC as assigned by the Physiotherapists
• Observing and monitoring clients' responses during treatment to ensure safety
• Make notes of clients' conditions, concerns and progress for reporting to Physiotherapists
• Cleaning and sterilizing area and equipment used in therapy treatment as necessary between uses; monitoring and maintaining general housekeeping of the clinic
• Assisting clients with activities such as stretching, individual exercises, posture reeducation and gait reeducation
• Booking clients in person, and over the phone
• Direct billing to extended health insurances
• Accepting cash, credit and debit payment from clients

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week


Salary:
From $16.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- therapy assisting: 1 year (preferred)
