Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Managing Partner (RMP) with the daytoday operations of the Region, including but not limited to calendar management, budgeting, financial reporting, meeting coordination and operational objectives
- Work with RMP on real estate matters including managing lease renewals, growth projections, renovations and moves
- Communicate with internal departments both locally and nationally to ensure firm systems and procedures are employed, suggesting enhancements as necessary
- Coordinate with local resource teams to plan and execute regional and team events
- Effectively manage change including contributing to the development of new ideas and approaches
- Learn and effectively use Practice Management software with the ability to provide reporting and analysis in various areas as requested
- Understand and support all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including approving supplier payments and team member expenses
- Possess working knowledge of all systems used by the Administrative team to assist with inquiries, implementing process changes and backup support, where needed
- Recruit, supervise and train administrative team members ensuring all regional administrative procedures are carried out in an efficient and effective manner
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services, businesses and industry
- Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events including client and companysponsored functions
- Demonstrate a balanced lifestyle, regular attendance and maintain high standards of team wellness
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience coupled with 3+ years of management and supervision experience
- Demonstrated aptitude to prioritize tasks based on comparative importance and urgency
- Organized and detailoriented, to help support our fast moving teams
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in various formats
- Highly skilled in using the Microsoft Office suite and able to learn to use a variety of other software or systems at the firm
- Completion of postsecondary Business Administration diploma or related field is considered an asset
- Experience in a professional services environment is considered an asset
