- As part of the Enterprise Quality organization, you will act as an Expert - Software Quality for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
- You will perform internal audits of software lifecycle data and processes to ensure compliance with established plans.
- You will support external audit and review activities with auditors and FAA certification authorities.
- You will support supplier oversight and evaluation throughout the supplier's software development lifecycle in support of Wisk program requirements.
- You will review program documents to ensure process assurance and compliance with certification objectives.
- You will represent Quality in software change control and corrective action activities.
- As an Expert - Software Quality, you will interface with the data and activities of related engineering teams, such as software, systems, systems safety, and electronic airborne hardware.
- University degree in engineering, electrical, computer science, mathematics, physics or a related field with at least 8 years of Expert - Software Qualitying experience supporting software with RTCA/DO-178C certification requirements.
- Familiarity with the DO-178C aerospace software standard, terminology and processes.
- Experience performing software quality audits and assessments.
- Hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle (including requirements analysis, design, code, integration & test).
- A strong and applied understanding of working with Quality Management and Configuration Management Systems.
- Knowledge of process assurance for System Engineering (SAE/ARP-4754B) and Airborne Electronic Hardware Engineering (RTCA/DO-254).
- Experience in Quality Management Systems (AS9100).
