    What You Will Do

    • As part of the Enterprise Quality organization, you will act as an Expert - Software Quality for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
    • You will perform internal audits of software lifecycle data and processes to ensure compliance with established plans.
    • You will support external audit and review activities with auditors and FAA certification authorities.
    • You will support supplier oversight and evaluation throughout the supplier's software development lifecycle in support of Wisk program requirements.
    • You will review program documents to ensure process assurance and compliance with certification objectives.
    • You will represent Quality in software change control and corrective action activities.
    • As an Expert - Software Quality, you will interface with the data and activities of related engineering teams, such as software, systems, systems safety, and electronic airborne hardware.

    Requirements / Exigences

    • University degree in engineering, electrical, computer science, mathematics, physics or a related field with at least 8 years of Expert - Software Qualitying experience supporting software with RTCA/DO-178C certification requirements.
    • Familiarity with the DO-178C aerospace software standard, terminology and processes.
    • Experience performing software quality audits and assessments.
    • Hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle (including requirements analysis, design, code, integration & test).
    • A strong and applied understanding of working with Quality Management and Configuration Management Systems.

    Desired / Préféré

    • Knowledge of process assurance for System Engineering (SAE/ARP-4754B) and Airborne Electronic Hardware Engineering (RTCA/DO-254).
    • Experience in Quality Management Systems (AS9100).

    English is required for this position in order to develop our product and eventually serve our customers, most or all of whom are located outside Quebec, as well as to communicate with partners and colleagues located in the United States, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Functional knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
