Job Summary:


To support the Finance Systems Department to provide frontline customer support to internal and external users of the finance systems.

This support will include Banner, FAST, Concur and Web Time.

This incumbent should have a business and/or accounting background and requires excellent communication and computer skills as they will be required to update documentation, train users and provide technical assistance as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft products is required, and knowledge of MS Project and Visio is an asset to this position.


Nature of work:


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance and Business Systems, the incumbent is responsible for the assisting the Finance Systems Analyst with their various departmental tasks.


Responsibilities/accountabilities:

Web Time Entry Maintenance
  • Setup of webtime approvers and routing in Banner
-
SharePoint Updates
  • Maintaining documentation library for finance on SharePoint

Concur (Travel and Expense Management):

  • Support and training (initial contact) User Profile maintenance / add access Workflow maintenance (approval, manager, and other changes)

Support Finance users Support and training (initial contact)
  • Assist users with log in or access issues Review Banner requests and forms and get them signed by appropriate parties
  • Setup of user training from online registrations

Project Management Support
  • Maintaining the project, issues and risk logs Update project tasks on master project plan Scheduling of meetings for finance systems projects and systems meetings

Required Skills:


  • Successful incumbent's expertise includes excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational and planning skills, the ability to multitask, to evaluate issues and provide alternative solutions.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft products including Project Visio is required and knowledge Visio would be an asset

Required Education:


  • Completion of formal postsecondary with at least two Academic years in Finance or Accounting.
  • Verification of Academic credentials may be required
