Key Responsibilities

Coach site leaders and team members to become independent continuous improvement champions.
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to identify improvement opportunities to drive efficient and high-quality processes.
Train, coach, and mentor Lean Six Sigma green belts to complete continuous improvement projects utilizing the DMAIC process.
Lead or facilitate problem solving teams and supporting groups to identify root cause and implement sustainable solutions.
Facilitate problem solving events to drive continuous improvement.
Complete Value Stream Mapping Events to create plans to improve cost and reduce capital investment.
Work with other business units across the Mercer organization to implement standardized CIP processes.

Education and Experience

University degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
Good communication skills including the ability to present to groups, facilitate meetings/workshops and interact with associates throughout the organization.
Ability to motivate a team.
Well-organized with proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities.

Experience with continuous improvement techniques such as 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, Daily Management, Root Cause and Risk Analysis, and Idea Management.

A Lean Six Sigma black belt would be considered an asset.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in a continuous improvement role.
