Position Description
E360s is a leading environmental services company dedicated to providing sustainable waste management solutions. We are looking for a detail orientated Shredding Technician to join our team in Rocky View, AB.
As a Shredding Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operation, preventative maintenance, and compliance of the Shredder related activities.
Position Responsibilities
- Safely operate shredding machinery to destroy materials.
- Organize daily tasks to ensure proper shredding and disposal, adhering to established guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies & procedures.
- Safety operate Excavator with thumb attachment to feed the shredder
- Perform routine maintenance on shredding equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to accurately sort and organize materials for shredding.
- Punctuality and commitment to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
- Excavator Certification is considered an asset.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Previous experience in material handling and shredding is considered an asset.
