JOB TITLE
Communications Consultant

37.5 hours/week

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creating Project Kickoff and presentation materials, conducting current state assessments, and peer research for client deliverables.
  • Developing engagement facilitation materials and online surveys, summarizing insights from sessions.

  • Project Management

  • Utilizing project management tools to maintain team alignment with project schedules and deadlines.
  • Establishing and overseeing SharePoint sites and folders, conducting client status updates and conversation summaries.
  • Identifying innovation and partnership opportunities.
  • Leading projects to address team challenges and developing solutions.
  • Collaborating with creative and communications teams to create content and strategies for diverse clients.
  • Researching, writing, and editing varied communications materials, proposing concepts and solutions.
  • Delivering content strategies and editorial calendars, ensuring alignment with brand voice and goals.
  • Leveraging media and PR tactics for strategic communications objectives.
  • Crafting content strategies and web project architectures, managing website content.
  • Contributing to RFP research and content curation, ensuring quality standards.
  • Demonstrating creative leadership by staying updated on trends and offering innovative ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in communications and content creation, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Experience with Indigenous communities or businesses.
  • Certification, Diploma, or Degree in journalism, creative writing, communications, or marketing preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across various styles and platforms.
  • Proficient in digital communication, with a creative and detail-oriented approach.
  • Team player with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Forward-thinking and up-to-date with industry trends.
