- Understand the specified requirements of the client and work accordingly.
- Read construction layouts and blueprints to plan work processes.
- Utilize framing or finish carpentry experience.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support for Apprentices as required.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance standards and codes.
- Assist with a variety of work scopes required for maintenance tasks and projects, including groundwork, elevations, and ground compaction for barrel placements.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation, OSSA BSO (Basic Safety Orientation before December 31, 2018), or CSO (Common Safety Orientation after January 1, 2019) is required.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous Renovations Experience an asset.
- 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous oil and construction industry experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive Drug, Alcohol, and Physical Demand Assessment
- Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity.
- Balance for working on scaffolding.
- Strong mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a work team.
