    The successful candidate

    for this position must have: A Master's degree, or equivalent, in Speech & Language Pathology; Membership, or eligibility to be a member, of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC; The ability to work in a team environment on an itinerant basis; The passion to support, develop, and inspire others in the field of communication; The commitment to evidence-based and innovative practice; An energetic, creative approach, with the flexibility to respond to multiple high demands; Excellent problem-solving skills; and, Access to a vehicle and the ability to work across different sites.

    All SD72 teachers will have a demonstrated understanding and commitment to teaching practice that embodies:

    an inquiry-based and collaborative approach to the delivery of the BC Curriculum; Social/Emotional Learning and an in-depth knowledge of the BC Mental Health Framework; the incorporation of the First Nations Principles of Learning; diversity, inclusion, and equity; support for the growth and development of individual learners through differentiated learning techniques; and, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow teachers to plan, develop, and implement an extraordinary learning experience for each individual student.

    The starting full time salary for this teaching position ranges from $58,267 and $106,217.

    Placement on salary scale is subject to verification of experience and certification and will be done in accordance with the current Collective Agreement.
