Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Administrator will work with the Controller and other accounting team members with all payables processes, including:
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Work with purchasers, site supervisors, and vendors to approve, code, and correct invoices
- Enter invoices into accounting software (Sage 50 and Homefront Payables Desk)
- Maintain digital archive of invoices and fulfill information requests
- Prepare cheque runs and online payments
- Process corporate credit card payments
- Process employee reimbursements
Skill Requirements:
- Experience with Sage (Simply) Accounting software
- Homefront or other Construction Management Software preferred
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Proven track record in project cost accounting and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a selfstarter, and driver of change.
