Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

The Accounts Payable Administrator will work with the Controller and other accounting team members with all payables processes, including:

  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Work with purchasers, site supervisors, and vendors to approve, code, and correct invoices
  • Enter invoices into accounting software (Sage 50 and Homefront Payables Desk)
  • Maintain digital archive of invoices and fulfill information requests
  • Prepare cheque runs and online payments
  • Process corporate credit card payments
  • Process employee reimbursements

Skill Requirements:


  • Experience with Sage (Simply) Accounting software
  • Homefront or other Construction Management Software preferred
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Proven track record in project cost accounting and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a selfstarter, and driver of change.
