Position Summary

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures and wear all PPE required for the job
Have attention to detail and accuracy
Perform multiple building constructionrelated tasks
Responsible for keeping work sites, orderly, and safe
May operate a forklift, to load, unload, transport and store goods
Comfortable in a fastpaced working environment
Frequent travel for extended periods of time (transportation, meals and accommodation provided)

Education & Knowledge

A valid Driver's License and clean drivers abstract
Clean criminal record check and ability to be approved for secure sites
Possess WHMIS/ GHS, Arial lift and working at heights certification or ability to obtain through employment
Knowledge of building construction specifically in the fabric building industry is an asset
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
Excellent Interpersonal skills

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

Necessary Skills and Experience

2 years related experience in a Construction Environment
Knowledge of hand/ power tools
Able to operate equipment such as drills, impacts and hand tools
Able to operate various pieces of lift equipment
Grinding and other fabricating processes
Selfstarter & Team Player
Able to travel and work on the road in various locations throughout North America
Physical strength is required for manual material handling
Comfortable working at heights

Training, Certification & Experience

WHMIS, aerial lift, working at heights certification
Experience on hand/power tools and equipment operation (specifically lift equipment, forklift or telehandler)
Some technical/vocational training or trade experience
Valid driver's license, clean drivers abstract
Clean Criminal record check and ability to be approved for secure sites.
