This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist/Physiotherapy Assistant who shares this same philosophy.

Responsibilities

Implement and execute active therapy programs for all inperson physio patients as directed by the treating physiotherapist
Accurately document patient SOAP notes after completing active therapy session with patient
Create and prepare home exercise sheets to send to patients as needed
Assist treating physiotherapist with ongoing treatment plan submissions
Fax/Upload reports completed by Physiotherapist to insurance companies as needed
Assist with other physiotherapy administrative tasks as needed
Perform high quality customer service

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience with concussion rehabilitation preferred.
Basic clinical skills in rehabilitation and modalities such as ultrasound, TENs (though ongoing training provided)
Knowledge and experience with WSIB, MVA, and Universal programming is an asset
Strong Medical Terminology
Ability to motivate and inspire patients during treatment and/or consultations
University education with a Kinesiology degree is an asset
Registered Kinesiologists in good standing is preferred
Direct patient care experience
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills is a must
12 years of direct patient care experience in kinesiology/physiotherapy assistant role.
Excellent knowledge of exercise prescription/supervision
