Main Duties

Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager and under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, this position contributes to the maintenance of SIGA's memorable facilities, by carrying out cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for Casino guests and staff.


Responsibilities include:
Cleaning Casino floors, washrooms, offices, windows, and furniture. Maintaining a clean and orderly inventory of supplies. Assisting Maintenance Repair Workers with exterior maintenance as required and weather permitting. Providing customer service in the course of carrying out duties. Assisting with minor repairs to facility and equipment. Handling other tasks as required, to provide a clean and safe Casino environment.


Conditions of Employment

  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age

  • Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.   • Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
  • Qualifications
    Education
  • Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience.

Experience

  • Experience providing customer service and working with many diverse situations and personalities. Previous housekeeping or custodial experience would be preferred.
